Our people

Sam is a Corporate Finance Partner focusing on transaction support and due diligence services, having previously worked at Grant Thornton and EY.

He has spent the last 10+ years working in an advisory capacity initially working in restructuring before specialising in transaction support providing financial due diligence, bid support, vendor assist and sale and purchase agreement (SPA) advisory services. Sam is part of the firm’s digital transformation team helping develop the use of data analytics and digital services to clients.

Recent experience includes working in a wide variety of sectors including; TMT, manufacturing, commercial construction, food and beverage, and business support services. Sam also led the financial due diligence for the 2019 SW Insider Dealmakers Deal of the year (being the sale of Amberon Limited to H2 Equity Partners).

Sam attends his local church with his wife and two daughters being involved in youth and community work, and when he has time, Sam is a keen tennis fan having played in numerous national competitions, and representing Somerset (before his daughters came along anyway!).
