Our people

Darren is a Director, based in the Corporate department of the Truro office.

He has specialist expertise in the not-for-profit sector, working primarily with charities, academy schools and other not-for-profit entities such as community interest companies. He holds the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting and is a regular speaker at our charity and academy update seminars.

Darren is a Responsible Individual for statutory audit work and also assists his clients with accounts preparation, independent examination requirements and other recurring requirements such as VAT returns and company secretarial work. In addition to the not-for-profit sector, he assists corporate clients and carries out other specialist audits such as pension schemes and grant claims.

Darren is also a school governor and a member of the audit committee of a Multi Academy Trust.
