Business support hires

You will be supporting our BD and Marketing Manager and BD Director with executing and implementing BD activities.  You will have the opportunity to work across our business, with a particular focus on our Business Services and Financial Services teams.   

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supporting the BD Team in the use of products and content for client engagement purposes
• Undertaking analysis of internal and external data sources to meet BD team, service line and sector needs
• Supporting BD director on client relationship management and activity as directed
• Supporting BD team on preparation for pipeline review meetings including maintaining the pipeline
• Drawing together market intelligence and liaises with BD manager and Director regarding target information to support the sales process
• Undertaking follow up actions to networking and marketing activity to generate appropriate meetings with clients, active targets and intermediaries
• Developing an understanding of each service line and keep up-to-date with industry developments bringing these to the attention of relevant stakeholders
• Understanding the issues and opportunities facing the service lines in order to support them with growing and developing the business

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

With at least three years’ experience of working in a professional services firm in a marketing or BD capacity, you will have an interest in BD, communication and helping people achieve their ambitions. Including also:

• A professional with business development/marketing experience at assistant or executive level
• A professional, credible and confident communicator with strong influencing skills and the ability to work well with stakeholders at all levels within the firm
• Experience of supporting projects and multiple relationships, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
• Strong written English language skills, and an ability to write clearly and concisely
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload
• Well-organised with a proactive approach
• A strong grasp of Word and PowerPoint
