Matt specialises in Mergers & Acquisitions, Management Buy Outs and Raising Finance. He has a particular interest in helping family owned businesses and their shareholders achieve their strategic goals; whether this is raising finance to implement growth plans, making acquisitions, assisting with succession planning or achieving a sale/exit from the business.
Matt joined PKF in 2007 and has a broad experience in all areas of corporate finance to support SMEs. Over the past 5 years Matt has been one of the most prolific advisors in the region having successfully completed transactions in a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, construction, healthcare, tourism and wholesale.
In 2016, Matt was awarded the Insider Young Deal Maker of the Year Award in recognition for the range of transactions and successful deal completions that he has lead.
Matt holds the ICAEW’s Corporate Finance qualification, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and has a Master’s Degree from Exeter University.
