Gavin is VAT and Indirect Taxes Partner in our Derby office – although he operates across the entire Midlands region.

Gavin thrives on helping clients understand the nuances of VAT and other indirect taxes, recognising the complexity of the rules and regulations surrounding them. He works determinedly to prevent clients being subject to penalties and interest charges, succinctly condensing information so that it is more manageable and easily understood by clients.

With over 20 years’ experience, Gavin has worked across all sectors and from all perspectives of VAT and indirect tax issues. For 14 of those years, he worked within the Big Four, where he accumulated extensive knowledge and expertise on VAT partial exemption, indirect taxation, and business advisory projects.
