Job Duties & Responsibilities

This is a new role in our IT Helpdesk department to address the IT training needs of the Firm’s users, who require general IT training covering in a range of subject areas.

• Running IT Induction sessions for new starters, covering the essential IT requirements
• Conducting training on key applications of the Office 365 suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with face-to-face training and remote via Zoom/Teams
• Helping users to get the best out of Zoom Phone and Meetings, Microsoft Teams (Meetings, Chats and File Sharing).
  • Also, how to be productive with One Note and Microsoft To Do
• Analysing queries to the Helpdesk and identifying areas of training need for users
• Dealing with IT Helpdesk support queries as required
• Conduct one to one session with users as required
• Posting regular IT updates on the Intranet including How To’s and Quick Tips
• Creating and maintaining IT documentation as necessary to assist users in their day-to-day job
• Providing digital updates for users on a regular basis
• Producing Training Documentation as appropriate

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Prior experience in a relevant training role or prior experience with relevant training responsibilities
• Experience of working in a professional services firm. Accountancy firm experience preferred but not essential
• Prior helpdesk administration experience is essential
  • Strong working knowledge on various IT systems e.g. Office 365, collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom or Microsoft Teams)
• Ability to write professional IT documentation with excellent communication skills
• Highly personable individual with experience of dealing with users at all levels and all abilities
• Need to be proactive in the approach to users to ensure all IT training needs are being considered
