Whilst we are in the process of assessing the company’s financial position, we will examine every possible avenue to resurrect the business and discussions are presently taking place with interested parties. However, the chances of succeeding are slim and we must remain realistic about the outcome.
Customers who have paid for flights by credit card should initially contact their credit card company, and customers who have booked their flights through a travel agency or package company should initially contact their operator.
If you have paid by debit card or cheque, we understand that your bank is under no obligation to refund your money, although we also understand that some have agreed to review refunds on a case by case basis.
We have been advised that most travel insurance policies do not protect holders from airline insolvency but, should you have insurance, you should contact your insurance company for clarification.
If you do have a claim against the company, then this will be unsecured and, although we are at a very early stage of our financial investigation, we regret to advise that the initial indications are that there will be no funds available to pay a dividend to the unsecured creditors.
It is intended that this webpage will be updated regularly with any information pertinent to creditors.
