Reporting accountant
As a reporting accountant the services we are able to provide include:
- Undertaking financial and commercial due diligence with key aspects considered being:
- historical trading results and financial position
- products/services, market, strategy
- accounting policies
- tax
- Working capital review (review of financial projections for next 18-24 months)
- Preparation of short form report on the company’s historical financial position and results – three year track record or from incorporation, if shorter. Usually IFRS for non-UK issuer.
- Review internal controls and financial reporting procedures
- Preparation of pro forma financial information
In addition to the role of reporting accountant there are a number of other key areas where we can assist:
- General advice on AIM market requirements, appropriate timing for listing etc
- Grooming the company in preparation for an AIM float
- Advice on other advisers to approach including lawyers
