Matrimonial dispute assignments
Matters in which PKF has acted include:
- Ancillary relief proceedings - Joint instruction to carry out the valuation of a business to assess the likely earnings arising from the business in the next three years and to value the assets of the business
- Masri v Masri - Acting in an appeal against the finding of the High Court in a claim for more than £20 million, including a detailed analysis and assessment of assets
- Valuations - Acting in matrimonial proceedings to value entities operating a variety of businesses trading in the Confederation of Independent States (the former Soviet Union) and various international property interests held through offshore trust vehicles
- Funds tracing - Acting in matrimonial proceedings to trace funds through various bank accounts and investment media to show that all had been properly disclosed.
- SK v WL [2010] EWHC - David Liddell, a forensic services partner, was instructed as party expert on behalf of the wife in this reported case heard before Mr Justice Moylan. The judgment deals with issues of significant post-separation accrual and comments on the need to take into account the subsequent sale price of the company in the valuation of the company as at the date of separation.
