In our eighth annual survey of the charity sector we explore the impact of the credit crunch and economic downturn to date, the extent to which risk management has helped the sector so far, and what is making the difference between effective and less effective risk management. We have also looked at how charities are dealing with some of the emerging issues and the strategic options for surviving these tough times.
As before, the report highlights areas of strength, weakness, common oversights and those areas in need of greater attention. In order to assist charities further in dealing with some of the issues raised, we have included practical tips on some of the key areas for managing through the recession.
