| Biography |
Ian is a Director in the North West forensic services team. He has over 10 years’ full time experience as a forensic accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Ian has particular experience of claims for loss of earnings and pension loss in personal injury, clinical negligence and fatal accidents cases and is regularly instructed as an expert and advisor on issues of quantum in complex matters.
He is instructed by law firms on behalf of Claimants and Defendants in equal proportion and also as a single joint expert. Ian also has particular experience of advising insurers and water utility companies on the financial aspects of claims for losses.
As part of his portfolio Ian also conducts business valuations in matrimonial proceedings, shareholder / partnership disputes and commercial agency terminations and undertakes fraud and financial investigations in cases of money laundering, fraud, tax evasion and confiscation proceedings.
He also provides training to law firms and insurers on aspects of quantum and forensic accountancy and is a Resolution trained Chartered Accountant. |
