| Biography |
Claire is a Director in our Midlands forensic team and has specialised as a forensic accountancy practitioner since 2001, conducting investigations into fraud and accounting irregularities and preparing reports for matrimonial disputes, criminal proceedings and a range of commercial disputes such as breach of contract, breach of warranty and post-acquisition disputes. She has experience of litigation, arbitration, mediation and expert determination.
Claire has been appointed Inspector by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (formerly known as the DTI) on several occasions to use statutory powers of enquiry to investigate, among other things, cases of misrepresentation and pyramid selling schemes. She also collaborated with David Liddell on a text book for Jordan publishing entitled ‘Unlocking Matrimonial Assets on Divorce’.
Claire is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She presents regularly to law firms on forensic accountancy topics. |
