| Biography |
Richard’s career commenced over 20 years ago, working in small accountancy firms and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Richard then joined a mid-tier accountancy firm and qualified a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. After an initial specialism in Corporate Tax, Richard has focused on VAT for the last 13 years.
In 2000, Richard joined HMRC as an Anti Avoidance Adviser in London, and in 2005 joined a big four Indirect Tax Litigation Team. In both these roles, Richard worked on a number of high profile VAT cases. Richard joined PKF in 2008, and is a Director providing VAT advisory services across London and East Anglia in a wide variety of business sectors for clients of all sizes. Richard regularly writes articles on topical VAT issues, and lectures at both PKF and external events. |
