Biography
Kathryn is based in our Liverpool office and is a director specialising entirely in the charity sector. She has a wide range of experience in the charity and not-for-profit sectors. She is a graduate of Liverpool University, a Chartered Accountant, a chartered internal auditor, a member of the Charities Specialist Interest Group and has the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting.

Her clients cover a wide range and size of charities and entities in the not-for-profit sector and include; Kensington Academy Trust, Liverpool Archdiocese Trust, The Liverpool Students Union, Liverpool Guild of Students, The Sisters of Notre Dame, St Helens CVS, The Bluecoat, Community Foundation for Merseyside, Liverpool and Merseyside Theatres Trust, Chester Diocesan Boards of Education and Finance, Leeds Diocese, Ffestiniog Railway Trust, Salford Students Union, The Merseyside Partnership and North Wales Housing. She also manages the audit of National Museums Liverpool on behalf of the National Audit Office. She has also previously managed the internal audit of the University of Chester and external audit of LIPA.

Kathryn has helped many clients with accounting issues relating to the Charities SORP, including updates to new versions of the SORP where relevant. She also prepared the accounts of Kensington Academy Trust in its early years.
