Biography
David is a partner in the forensic services department of PKF (UK) LLP specialising in large and complex commercial litigation and international arbitration, fraud and financial investigations, competition and anti-trust investigations, acquisition disputes and professional negligence actions. He joined PKF in 1991 and was admitted to partnership in 2003. David has specialised in forensic services since 1995 having transferred from PKF's financial services audit group dealing with Lloyds, the corporate insurance market and other financial institutions.

David has considerable experience of preparing expert reports and advising instructing solicitors and Counsel in loss of profits claims; contentious valuations; qualification of loss arising in contractual and product liability disputes; valuation and asset tracing in matrimonial disputes; and fraud, asset tracing and money laundering and other financial investigations.

David has undertaken confidential investigations for the Serious Fraud Office and National Crime Squad (now SOCA) and has been appointed an inspector by the DTI (now BERR). David has given evidence in the Criminal Courts and at international arbitration hearings and has considerable experience of providing advice in High Court actions and at mediation. He is a frequent lecturer on fraud and wrote the 2007 publication. "Fraud: The Changing Landscape", published by CCH. David has also appeared on Sky News and the BBC commenting on fraud issues. David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and sits on the committee of the Forensic Special Interest Group of the ICAEW and the Asset Recovery Working Party of the Fraud Advisory Panel.

David is also a member of PKF's Pensions Advisory Team, advising pension schemes and sponsoring employers on the strength of the employer covenant for SSF valuations and notable events.
