| Biography |
Paul is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Taxation Adviser and is a tax partner with PKF. He advises a wide range of clients on tax planning and tax minimisation and also undertakes consultancy assignments for other practitioners (accountants and solicitors).
He advises an increasing number of clients in the property and construction sectors and is the regional head of the Firm’s Real Estate and Construction Group.
Paul is a member of PKF’s Tax Investigations group and a member of the ICAEW Tax Faculty and is listed as having particular experience of handling clients’ investigations by HM Revenue & Customs. He is Head of Tax Investigations for PKF in the North and has a wealth of experience in handling tax investigations with a number of different HMRC departments ranging from local tax offices right through to SI (Specialist Investigations). He is also handling a number of cases under the Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility (LDF) and is a leading practitioner in this field.
He has acted as Expert Witness in a number of tax dispute cases and is a member of PKF’s national fiscal share valuations group and undertakes a number of tax-based share valuations.
Paul has presented many seminars on wide-ranging tax topics for fellow professionals, and has featured in a number of radio presentations. |
