Biography
Rhodri has over 15 years’ experience as an assurance and corporate advisory partner. He is based in the South East of England, splitting his time between PKF’s London and Guildford offices.

Rhodri has worked across many sectors, providing a range of assurance and advisory services. He has a particular focus on larger national and international businesses, inward investors (principally from the US, Germany and Australia) and companies whose shares are traded either on AIM or the Main Market.

Through his work Rhodri has acquired a good understanding of the practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards and cross border issues. He has also gained valuable technology experience through his work with B2B and B2C companies, gaining an excellent grasp of the new accounting and taxation issues resulting from evolving technologies.

He also has a long involvement with property groups, be they investors in commercial property or developers of residential property, acquiring crucial insights into recent changes in the market, such as the increased geographical reach of portfolios and investors, and changes in funding methods. Rhodri also works with investment related organisations, chiefly VCTs but also companies covering property, healthcare and other equity related investments.

In addition to his assurance and advisory and compliance work, Rhodri leads the corporate finance team in PKF’s Guildford office and is involved with non-standard investigation and reporting engagements. His corporate finance experience includes lead advisory, due diligence, fund raising, valuations, and providing strategic advice to businesses on exit strategies. His non-standard reporting engagements have included working for the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims – an engagement lasting over four years, reviewing and verifying the processes put in place by two leading life insurance companies to handle claims from victims of the Holocaust or their eligible descendents.

Working with clients and sharing his experience with them is something that gives Rhodri great personal satisfaction. Whether his clients face issues from a commercial or a compliance perspective, he enjoys the challenge of developing effective, practical solutions.
