| Biography |
Tim is a partner in our specialist team dealing with public sector and not for profit organisations.
Tim returned to the firm in the autumn of 1999 after a two year secondment to HM Treasury where he was a member of the Central Accounting Team involved in advising on the accounting and financial reporting framework across central government. This included particular focus on the development and implementation of resource accounting and budgeting.
Since his return to the firm, Tim has taken over responsibility for the development of our public sector / central government portfolio including external and internal audits as well as specialist assignments.
Tim’s current portfolio includes the external audits of a wide range of government departments, trading funds, executive agencies, NDPBs and pension schemes – many of them under our Framework Agreement with the National Audit Office. His external audit clients also include some direct appointments to public sector organisations together with a number of investment trusts, VCTs and open ended investment companies. Tim is also the internal audit partner responsible for a number of organisations in the public and private sector.
Outside the firm, Tim is a member of the ICAEW’s Public Sector Financial Reporting Sub Committee and he has recently been asked to join the APB’s Public Sector Sub Committee. |
