Biography
Robert is a partner within the specialist public sector assurance and advisory team. He has over 17 years experience in providing audit, assurance, value for money and corporate improvement services to local authorities (including Police and Fire and Rescue Authorities) and all types of NHS organisations.

Robert is responsible for the audit of public sector clients in the South East, including Unitary Authorities, District and Borough Councils, NHS Trusts and Primary Care Trusts. Robert has a particular interest in public sector improvement and is one of our lead partners for the Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) of local authorities. He has responsibilities for leading corporate assessment teams on behalf of the Audit Commission. He is also a member of the firm’s Technical Development Group responsible for developing our services to the public sector.

He has provided consultancy services to many public service organisations, assisting them with their priorities for improving services and good governance.
