 Surrey-based corporate finance director scoops top business award
8 February 2011: Andrew Lock, a corporate finance director at the Guildford office of UK leading accountancy and business advisory firm, PKF (UK) LLP, has been named Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year at the Insider Dealmakers Awards 2011 – South East.
Andrew was nominated by his peers and colleagues within the industry, and collected his award in front of around 350 people at last week’s ceremony at the Copthorne Hotel, Gatwick.
On winning, Andrew commented: “This is a great win for myself, the team I work with and PKF. Merger and acquisition (M&A) activity is a core part of our business and we remain very busy generating and successfully completing on a number of deals despite the challenging economic climate.”

Andrew and his team specialise in small and medium enterprise (SME) M&A transactions, due diligence and valuation work.
In addition to the above award, PKF was also an adviser on the management buyout (MBO) of MatthewsDaniel Limited which won the Deal of the Year accolade. Andrew Lock and his colleagues Jeff Crisell and Craig Hewitt-Dutton assisted on this transaction.
