iXBRL - Getting it right
Online filing is now mandatory for all corporation tax returns for accounting periods ending after 31 March 2010. Paper returns will no longer be accepted, and online returns must (with very few exceptions) be filed using the iXBRL standard reporting language.
Where PKF prepare your corporation tax return, it will be produced in the iXBRL format, together with the computations. These, together with accounts produced in the iXBRL format, will be filed electronically to HMRC.
